Much like life itself, you’ve got to take the good with the bad at the rolling rally. Boston Daily literally ran up Mass Ave. (who knew the rally would start on time?) and then on to Copley Square to partake in the celebration. In case you have the one boss who didn’t let his/her employees take long lunches, here’s the good and the bad, according to us. |

Two weeks ago, Boston Daily became a Red Sox Redhead. At that time, the Sox were losing to the Indians and we feared we may have sent Amy Derjue on a fool’s errand. Luckily for her, she’s now sporting the colors of the 2007 World Series champions. With the season over, we asked her how she liked rocking the red. |

Andrew Meyer, the 21-year-old University of Florida student, who gained a small measure of notoriety, or infamy, with his, ‘Don’t Tase me bro!’ incident at a John Kerry appearance in Gainesville, will not be charged, and will instead accept voluntary probation. Meyer claims that the odd exchange was not a stunt, and that the (ha!) communication major, “went there to ask an important question. The question of voter disenfranchisement in America cuts to the heart of our democracy, and my failure to act calmly resulted in this important town forum ending without the discourse intended.” (Check out the YouTube clip here) Meyer also praised the University of Florida for helping him see the light. We all know that the US pumps nearly six million tons of carbon dioxide into the air every year. What we don’t know is what that weight is in elephants. We were hoping this wasn’t going to happen. Unfortunately, it did. Yesterday, the ever-popular Massachusetts Turnpike Authority voted 3-to-2 to increase tolls at four locations. Remember when the current governor said he was going to shut down the MTA? Remember when the old governor said he was going to eliminate tolls altogether? We’ve been feeling pretty good lately. If all the post-championship happiness is starting to freak you out, head to the Orpheum to catch 
Crap.
The best of times: Not only do we get a parade today, but we also get our free tacos between 2p.m. and 5p.m. Thanks again, Jacoby Ellsbury
Now that the Red Sox have wrapped up another World Series victory, we need something else to gamble on.
