People magazine says they have the scoop everyone has been trying to get. Namely, that Tom Brady dropped to one knee, busted out the ice, and proposed to Gisele Bundchen.

The mag quotes a “source close to the couple.” Hmmm. Wonder who that could be?

At any rate, word from the source is that it will either be “a huge fashionista event” or a quick and intimate setting in Costa Rica. This could all very well be true, but the source doesn’t sound like they have the faintest idea what’s going on here.

And hey People, how about an update on the knee?
