Three time Emmy-award-winner Sara Edwards is a familiar face on the entertainment scene. An entertainment reporter for more than two decades in Boston, Sara has talked to A-list celebrities from coast to coast. She has covered stories on film locations and every major red carpet, including the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Emmys. Boston viewers will remember her on the show "Evening Magazine," and then as the entertainment reporter for WHDH TV. She has interviewed some of Hollywood’s hottest stars, such as Johnny Depp, Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and Mark Wahlberg. At her most recent position at CN8 in Boston, Sara co-hosted “Backstage”, an hour-long entertainment program seen “live” weeknights in 10 million homes on the Comcast network. She also served as executive producer of “Backstage,” managing content, and supervising staff. Currently, Sara is a freelance writer and producer working in both Boston and Los Angeles.
