We imagine there are going to be some ugly fights between the politically-minded women who will attend tonight’s performance by Jon Stewart in the hopes of making him their brainy Jewish boyfriend. Don’t bother, ladies—he’s ours. (And, you know, married.)

The relationship between Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham might be our favorite fraught rock and roll love affair. (The only other contender being the epic romance of Britney and K-Fed.) The former Fleetwood Mac guitarist plays songs from the band’s heyday and his own material at the Berklee Performance Center.

Like apples, but hate all the yellow jackets and other natural phenomenon at the orchard? Head to Summer Winter for its Apple Celebration. This five-course feast uses the seasonal fruit in sweet and savory ways.

Isn’t a more apt name Wine and Dine against MS? This event raises money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society with a live auction, live music, and a four-course dinner prepared by Meritage chef Daniel Bruce.

We love the Boston Pops when they’re performing on their own. But add in stars like John Mayer, Yo-Yo Ma, and Sting? It’s like Woodstock for adult contemporary fans. Chris Botti and the Boston Pops will be recorded for a PBS fundraiser, but you can see it live tonight.

Get your strength up for tomorrow’s rock ‘n roll at the Farm Aid Eve Dinner. Henrietta’s Table serves up a farm fresh al fresco buffet, and local musician Will Dailey will perform. Proceeds benefit family farmers.

That JoJo is just so darn cute. Admire pictures of her and other celebrities at the Alzheimer’s Association Champions Photo Exhibit.
