Brian Hamill is a certified USA Track and Field Level 1 coach who has been coaching in the Boston area since 2001, when he began at Community Running Association — a Cambridge-based club with 100+ members training for a range of races. He's finished 45 full marathons in 23 states so far; his favorite is Gloucester's annual Cape Ann 25k. His coaching tips involve helping runners learn a sense of pace and a smart approach to race day. By day, he's a chemical engineer for a family business in Lynn; he enjoys the occasional pub trivia night, and hopes sometime to be on CBS’ Amazing Race show.
